**I currently have a Sony DSC-W80 7.2 megapixel. It is really not that good with low light (sunset and indoors pix without flash).
For low light situations, you basically need to be able to adjust ISO setting. I would say a camera that is capable for at least more than 700 ISO should do the job. I don’t know exactly what type of cameras you want but if you are after a compact digital camera, you may want to check out Casio Exilim EX10 as it covers up to ISO 1600 and is reasonably priced at most of shops.
